Interview with Mr. Corbo

Do you keep in touch with any of your childhood friends?

I keep in touch with my longest friend.  His name is RJ and I have known him since I was 5.

Do you have any pets?

I don’t have any pets.

What is an interesting fact that not a lot of people know about you?

I’m trying to see all the professional baseball stadiums.   So far I have been to 18.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because of my 6th grade math teacher Mrs. Morris.  She made math enjoyable.

Did you do sports as a child? What and why did you play it?

My favorite sport is baseball and I have played it all my life.  I played it because since I was a baby I went to Yankee games with my dad.

You teach 6th grade, how do you keep track of all of your work?

I hold on to my Interactive notebooks every year.  I use them to reflect on my teaching before each school year.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?

I like to go hiking, workout and watch/play sports.

What is your favorite sports team?

Yankees/Cowboys are my favorite teams.
