Are you sick of the same old holiday cookies or brownies? Do you need something to spice up your holiday desserts? You also probably already spent all your money on Christmas presents. Well, I may have a solution for you. Christmas inspired me to teach you how to make Reindeer Cake Pops. These cake pops will have you getting compliments left and right. The ingredients you will need are a cake box mix, milk, vegetable oil, three eggs, brown melt chocolate, Cake Pop sticks, Pretzels, eyeball sprinkles, and red sprinkles.
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, get a medium size bowl and pour your cake box mix. Next, add 1 cup of milk, ½ of vegetable oil, and three eggs. Now, mix and transfer your batter to cake pans. Don’t forget to butter your pans, so the cake does not stick. Bake for thirty minutes. When the cake is done, let it cool for five minutes. I would let it cool because for the next step, you might burn your hands. While the cake is cooling, get your brown melted chocolate, and put it in the microwave for forty five seconds. A tip is you want your chocolate to be a liquid consistency. After doing that, your cake should be cooled, so transfer it into a pretty big bowl. Now, knead and crumble your cake. Add two tablespoons of your melted chocolate in your cake for a better doughy consistency. Now you are going to take your cake dough and roll it into medium sized balls. Another tip is to squeeze the dough so all the air bubbles get out of the dough. This is when your cake dough starts looking more like a cake pop. First, dip the top of your cake pop stick in your cake dough. Then freeze for ten to five minutes. So the cake pops and sticks in the dough. After they freeze, dip cake pops in melted chocolate. A technique I use is to twirl the cake pop in the melted chocolate. Once you’re done dipping them add two eyeball sprinkles and one red sprinkle as the nose. Your last detail will be half a pretzel for the reindeers antlers. Last, freeze your Reindeer Cake Pops for ten minutes.
Finally, display your cute little Cake Pop Reindeer on the holiday festive table. When it is time to enjoy what you have created, make sure you don’t eat your cake pop in just one bite. You won’t even have to encourage people to try your holiday Reindeer Cake Pops because they are adorable. I hope you make this dessert a part of your holiday traditions. Maybe next year you can add Snowman cake pops to your holiday table.
